Scrapbooking From the Inside Out - Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Scrapbooking From the Inside Out ("SFTIO") Blog Hop! If you are just beginning at my blog, make sure you go back and start at Melissa's blog.  As mentioned in my last blog post,  I have the pleasure of being the Guest Designer at SFTIO this month.  The topic for March is "Grace", and the monthly kit is just as "graceful" and beautiful as can be!  Here's one of the layouts I created with the kit:

I wrote about how proud I am of my girls and the respectful way they behave around other people -- with grace and good manners.

Now if only they acted that way all the time at home.  You moms all know what I'm talking about . . . but we won't get into that now. ;-)

Here's a look a SFTIO's beautiful GRACE kit:

And now is your chance to win the GRACE kit!!  Simply leave a comment here by 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time this Saturday and tell me how you define the word "grace".  Each blog you visit and leave a comment on gives you another chance to win (though only one kit will be given away).

To continue on the Blog Hop, just head on over to Bonita's blog!

  3. I was always thrilled when people said that my son was well behaved in their houses even though he wasn't always at home. But if he couldn't let off steam at home where could he? Rather at home than someone else's house!

  8. This is so beautiful! I love how you layered those scallops all around, it almost reminds me of a peacock. How do I define grace? Kindness that is completely undeserved. Somthing that we ALL need from time to time. THanks for sharing. Your girls are beautiful!

  11. Today I would define Grace as the way that (most) of our bodies move without having to give it much thought. We simple are able to move about "with Grace" without having to direct our muscles and body parts to do so. So many people have lost this ability that sometimes it's easy to forget how lucky those of us who don't have to give it much thought really are. Even the most clumsy of us have some physical grace. The way our hands and mouths move when we speak, how we communicate with just our eyes and simply walking or dancing, swimming. Today for me grace defines the magic that is our physical self!

  15. What a beautiful layout. I've always thought of Grace is an inner elegance that out outward actions reflect. My grandmother personified Grace.

  18. My interpretation of grace is that it comes from within - it is something that is hard to express if it doesn't come naturally! It is a mixture of kindness and compassion with a little love thrown in for good measure ...

Thanks for the stunnng LO as always.

  21. The Dutch word for grace is -gratie/elegantie- so I'll go for elegant. First thought: the CAT (and all his family members)I think they are themost elegant creatures in the world.
Oeps, sorry, not so deep this time! lol

And your layout by the way is very elegant as well. You made the photo shine with this design ánd your catching journaling.
