Video Tutorial: faux paper frame

I'm slowly but surely trying to update my much-neglected blog.  I still have dozens of projects from last year that I haven't posted here yet.  Here's a layout I created for Creating Keepsakes magazine using Jolee's Boutique French General line of embellishments :

As seen in the January/February 2013 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.  Copyright Creative Crafts Group. Posted with prior permission from the publisher.

It looks kind of like the page is in a real wood frame, right?  Nope!  I made the frame out of cardstock.  It has dimension, but it's flat enough to fit inside a page protector.  If you'd like to try this technique, check out this video tutorial that I created for CK:  Faux Frame Tutorial YouTube

  5. Hey Stacy, great to see you back on blog-land!
As frame maker I love this idea and will use it with wood-structure design paper.
As soon as it is done, I will show you.
Thanks for the inspiration and wish you a late, but still HAPPY NEW YEAR!
